This museum includes over 800 surnames, research books, displays on military, coal mining, old toys, ladies homemaking tools and more. It also has an original newspaper article published in 1862 documenting the Battle of Sacramento. Open Mondays and Fridays or call for appointment.

The library is home to a wide variety of books including a large collection of children's books and information on local genealogy, Kentucky history and Civil War. Housed in c.1880 building listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the library also has an art gallery featuring original artwork and prints of local artists and displays and artifacts on the history of early Livermore. Open 10 am - 5 pm Monday through Friday or call for appointment.

McLean County Public Library Study

Through funding provided in 2006, HB 380 - Budget Bill, a study is being conducted to review state standards for developing a public library for McLean County. The study will also evaluate the Livermore Community Library to determine what would need to be done for it to meet the qualification requirements to become a public library for the county. (Below are links to other sites.)
